Hey dark i am having problems with Spammers...
From one particular IP address! RIPE Network Coordination Centre.
9/10 of them are coming from that IP. I was wondering if we could add maybe a Bot block in the forum posts. Like to post this response you have to put in X letters.
Please respond when you have the chance! I am Locking there ip's so they don't come back again but it will get out of hand eventually!

So the forum is still missing, and i noticed that alot of the old DW General crew is coming back looking for their home.
For those of you who don't know, the board was closed due to spammers and the lack of Admins who could ban names. I tried my best to delete all the posts and subjects that were spammers but in the end it proved to be to much for just me.
Give a shout out to Dark... maybe enough of us calling for it back will get him to start it back up!
He might need a few volunteers too, I have volunteered all my extra free time to do what i can(to possibly admin the board(s). Every comment and post will help guys! Please post back!

webcamXP has been updated...
i was announcing it for weeks (not to say months) and finally the native service version is available :) i know that several users were waiting for it and having many troubles trying to setup the original version to run as service using 3rd party tools.
now it's quite simple, it's totally based on the webcamXP5.xml and the service will enable exactly the same features that you set through the GUI.
here's the recent changelog as i haven't got time to announce it even if other updates were released in the meantime.

+ Files moved from "Current Users" to "All Users" (for service compatibility)
+ Better handling of Linksys WVC200

another tool, the advanced settings editor has also been included in recent versionsl, it allows to changes some advanced features which are not available through the interface in order to keep the software itself simpler.
